F.A.Q.

Q.     Why are prices at this site different to online stores like iTunes?

A.     We can only set prices for this site. Online music stores like iTunes set their own prices and we have no control or influence over it.

Q.     What is Bellbird Creative? I keep seeing it mentioned.

A.     Bellbird Creative is the business, Audio Tours Australia is a product of that business. We kept them separate so new products can be easily created later (e.g. Audio Tours UK)

Q.     What do I do with the zip file?

A.     A zip file is like an envelope that contains multiple files so you only have to download one file instead of a whole bunch.

To extract the MP3s from the zip archive:
1)    Right-click the file, click "Extract All"
2)    Choose where you'd like to put the tour (your music folder for example)

Note: If you're using Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Mac OSX then you can use zip files without any additional software. For earlier versions of Windows or Macintosh you'll need to download the MP3 files one by one.

Q.     How do I put the tours onto my iPod?

A.     We recommend making a separate playlist for each tour.

1)    Just click the big plus-sign in the very bottom left corner of iTunes to create a new playlist
2)    Name it something relevant (Sydney Historical Tour for example)
3)    Drag the folder from the desktop over the iTunes window and drop it into your playlist. Alternatively, go to the Music library, right-click on the tour's folder and "Add to Playlist" (If it's not there, go File – Add Folder to Library and choose the tour's folder).
4)    Sync the playlist to your iPod as usual.

Q.     How do I put the tours onto my Zune?

A.     We recommend making a separate playlist for each tour.

1)    Hover over the sheet of paper in the bottom left corner. From the menu that pops up, choose "New Playlist"
2)    Name it something relevant (Sydney Historical Tour for example)
3)    Find the tour's MP3 folder in your music library and drag it over the sheet of paper (which should now be black)
4)    Click the Zune icon in the very bottom left to sync the playlist to your device

Q.     How do I put the tours onto a different MP3 player or mobile phone?

A.     Check the manufacturer's instructions.

Q.     Okay, I'm ready to go. Now what? How does it all work?

A.     Check the starting point for the tour, go there, and press Play! If you forget where the tour starts, that's okay. We tell you at the beginning of each tour. Once you begin you'll be guided with easy to follow instructions to each stop.

Q.     My Internet connection dropped out while I was downloading! Do I need to purchase the tour again?

A.     No. Once payment for a tour has been processed it's unlocked for you to download as often as you like.

Q.     Can I share the files or my login details with other people?

A.     No. This violates our Terms & Conditions and will result in your account and access to the tours being cancelled without warning and with no refund given. Legal action may also be taken.

Q.     How secure is your payment processing?

A.     Very. We use PayPal to securely process payments.

Q.     Do I need to be a PayPal member?

A.     No. We can process credit card payments through PayPal without you being a member.

Q.     Do you store my credit card details?

A.     No. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

Q.     When's the best time to take the tours?

A.     During business hours. Many venues like museums and galleries are only open in these hours and some parks will also close at night.
